- Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of receiving your order, then bring the unused fireworks back to our store.
- Damaged on arrival? Tell us as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with photos.

Changing your mind
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you can cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive it (by delivery or collection), without giving a reason.
- To cancel, email info@just-fireworks.co.uk with your order number, or use our contact page.
- You then have a further 14 days to bring the fireworks back.
- Fireworks must be unused, in their original condition and, where possible, their original packaging.
- If you cancel before your order has been delivered or collected, we'll refund you in full straight away.
- If you cancel your whole order, we'll also refund the delivery charge.
How to return fireworks
Fireworks are classed as explosives, so they can't be sent by post or ordinary courier. Please bring them back in person to our store:
Thornton Road
492 Thornton Rd, Bradford, BD8 9BS
You'll find our opening hours on the Our stores page. Please bring your order number. Whoever returns the fireworks must be 18 or over. If you can't get to the store, contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Damaged on arrival
Please check your fireworks when you receive them. If anything is damaged, let us know as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with your order number and photos of the damage and the packaging. Don't use a damaged firework. We'll replace it or refund you.
Faulty fireworks
Very occasionally a firework fails to light or doesn't perform as it should. If that happens:
- Stay safe. Never go back to a firework that hasn't gone off or try to relight it. Wait at least 30 minutes, then soak it in a bucket of water.
- Tell us as soon as you can, with your order number, which product it was and what happened. A short video of it misfiring really helps us look into it with the manufacturer.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 don't change: if goods are faulty you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of receiving them. After that, we'll offer a replacement or refund. We can't treat as faulty a firework that was stored somewhere damp, damaged after it reached you, or used against its instructions.
What we can't take back
- Fireworks that have been lit or used, unless they were faulty.
- Fireworks damaged after you received them — for example by getting wet.
- Fireworks sent back by post or courier.
- Fireworks that weren't bought from us.
How refunds are paid
We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the fireworks back — or of you cancelling, if your order hadn't reached you yet. Card payments are refunded to the card you paid with; if you paid on delivery or collection, we'll refund using the same method wherever possible. Card refunds can take a few working days to show on your statement.
If we cancel your order
If we have to cancel your order — for example because something has sold out, your address turns out to be outside our delivery area, or we can't confirm your age — we'll tell you straight away and refund everything you've paid.
